Our Virucidal Laboratory is GLP, GMP, ISO, VAH under the scope of disinfectant efficacy testing.
The principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) promote the quality and validity of data generated in the testing of chemicals and prevent fraudulent practices.
Our laboratory has gained, from the Italian Ministry of Health, the authorisation to perform testing in compliance with GLP since 1991.
ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation is an important standard for testing laboratories as it proves that a laboratory is technically competent and able to produce accurate results and reliable data. Testing laboratories must demonstrate the ability to achieve several key outcomes before they can be accredited with ISO/IEC 17025.
Our laboratory has undergone the rigorous quality controls through the regular participation in the ring-trials organized by the prestigious Association of Applied Hygiene (VAH) in Germany.
The Association of Applied Hygiene (VAH) aims to provide safe and easy guidance for the selection and use of chemical disinfectants by covering a key-player role for the submission of disinfectant products in the german market. Its purpose is to ensure that only those disinfectant products are used which were found to be effective when tested according to up-to-date scientific methods. We have been approved by the VAH to submit test reports which follow to a certification of products by the VAH.
AIFA authorisation to perform in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) biological, microbiological, chemical-physical and chemical quality controls.
